We’ve just launched Monthly Art Challenges, a new way for students to create, grow, and connect with the global creative community.

Each month, we’ll introduce a new theme designed to encourage exploration across disciplines. Whether your students are into 2D, 3D, fashion, graphic design, or web, they’ll find room to express their creativity in their own way.

Why Encourage Students to Join?

This is more than just a contest, it’s a chance for students to:

  1. Get Motivated: Themed challenges and deadlines can help students start (and finish) projects they’re proud of.
  2. Experiment and Learn: The challenges encourage creative problem-solving and trying new techniques or workflows.
  3. Gain Recognition: Winners will receive software licences, badges and certificates, with selected entries featured on our blog and social media.
  4. Connect with Creatives: Students will become part of a global network of artists, giving them a chance to learn from others’ approaches and ideas.
🖐️
Consider using the challenge as part of your class or as an optional project for students to take on independently.

This Month’s Theme: The Streets

What makes a street come alive? Is it the architecture, the people, the mood, or the hidden stories? This month, we’re challenging you to create a project that captures the essence of a street. Students can explore anything from busy cityscapes to quiet neighbourhoods or even imaginary streetscapes. Whether your students build a full environment or focus on a single feature like a storefront or a streetlamp, it’s a great chance to hit a deadline and push their skills.

How to Get Started

Encouraging your students to join is simple:

  1. Share the Monthly Art Challenges webpage for all the details.
  2. Suggest they brainstorm ideas around this month’s theme: The Streets.
  3. Remind them that the deadline to submit is February 21, 2025, at 9:00 am UTC.

This is a chance for students to work on something meaningful, develop their skills, and gain recognition for their creativity. If you’d like more information or resources, feel free to reach out.
