Rookie Awards 2025 is approaching, and we are thrilled to unveil new updates and schedule designed to enhance the experience for schools, students, and educators alike, allowing for more flexibility for our international community.
This year’s competition introduces regular live webinar events and new and improved resources to keep everyone informed and engaged.
Quick Overview
This year, the Rookie Awards have introduced several key updates to enhance the competition experience:
- New Dates: The contest period has been pushed back 30 days to accommodate more school term dates.
- Defined Contest Brief: Provided a much clearer and defined brief for entrants to follow.
- Revised Submission Limits: New limitations applied to all entrants to help focus entrants to correct industries.
- Planning Support: Full documentation and planning support to clearly explain all categories and opportunities to entrants.
- Comprehensive Submission Guides: New detailed articles provide step-by-step instructions for the submission process.
- Helpdesk Translation (coming soon): We have translated our helpdesk articles into the following languages: French, Spanish, Chinese.
- Regular Webinar Sessions: These sessions are designed to help support entrants in creating the best possible entries they can.
New Contest Dates
The contest period has been pushed back 30 days to accommodate more school term dates.
OPEN: April 7, 2025
The competition officially begins as eligible entrants can start submitting their work.
CLOSED: June 20, 2025
All entries must be submitted by this date. Late submissions will not be accepted, so encourage your students to plan ahead.
FINALISTS: July 31, 2025
Celebrate with us as we reveal the finalists for each category. This milestone is a proud moment for all participants!
WINNERS: August 20, 2025
The pinnacle of the competition—the winners across all categories will be announced.
New Helpdesk Area
Everything you and your students need to help them with Rookie Awards 2025 can be found in our new Helpdesk. This resource ensures student have all the guidance needed to participate in the contest successfully.
Educator Training Video
We are creating a bespoke recorded video for educators that will include additional details to help your students create their best entries and give your school the best chance of featuring in the Top Global Creative Schools Annual Rankings. This video will arrive in your inbox in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
Webinar Series for Students
To ensure your students stay informed, we will be hosting live webinars running up to the launch of the competition. These sessions are a valuable opportunity for students to gain insights, ask questions, and connect with the global creative community. We will be promoting these events via our various accounts but have also listed them here for your reference:
