Weekly Reviews by Industry Pros

Christina Ryan has been helping loads of students over the last 2 months by running live Twitch stream reviews for members participating in our Substance Kombi Challenge. The feedback is focused on techniques used to improve skills using Substance Suite and other general texture and surfacing tips. Make sure to get your students involved before the contest closes.

Page Builder Update

Students use our custom page builder tool to share their latest work in contests and on the portfolio pages. We have made a bunch of recent improvement to the ?UX and even adjusted the width of the images to be narrow by default. This allows images to be viewed based on your screen height, not width. The choice is still up to the artist, but simple tweaks like these are proving to be subtle, yet awesome improvements.

Contest Page and Entry Updates

We also recently improved the process of entering contests by adding a bunch of improvements. These make it much easier for students to understand how to enter a contest, which categories they can choose and when they have reached their limits. Basically, entering contests is easier which is good news for all.

The main contest list page has also been split into two sections making it easier for you to find contests for your students. Go here to take a look.
